The Grotto at Jordans, Ashill - South Somerset

Early C19 grotto within a designed landscape whose principle house was demolished in the mid C20. The building has been subject to vandalism and although the owner has rethatched and stabilised the decline, several significant elements such as the stained glass windows are still in need of repair. In 2014 English Heritage began discussion with the owner about future repair options.
